Coloured Gem Engagement Rings

Coloured gemstones, such as sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, have long been used in jewellery. Sometimes a coloured gemstone will be selected to match a client’s birthstone. Northern European tastes still tend to lean towards colourless diamonds but, as variety increases, we see influences coming in from America for yellow diamonds and sapphires. Kate Middleton’s sapphire and diamond ring has also thrust this beautiful gemstone into the limelight again.
